Apple Pencil

Since my order of the MobileStudio won't be coming in for a good while I decided to try out the Apple Pencil. The iPad above was actually the same iPad my mom used for our trip to China.... It's just that it was one of the items seized and investigated by the police after my sister died. After about four months since they initially took the items including her laptop and other things, we finally got it back.

Of course as seen above, I'm using Medibang. I do have the desktop version, but it wasn't to my liking, but for the iPad, it's the only option I have right now. Like I said, this is my mother's iPad, so I really wouldn't want to purchase an app like Procreate on her device. There is something nostalgic about forcing myself to adjust to a program because I was using a different machine and had to adjust to cheaper/free/pirated software. Before Sai, I actually used Photoshop Elements, which I generously got from my highschool friend back when Bamboo tablets used to come packaged with them.

And I got used to PSE that way until... the computer I installed PSE on got fucked up, and the installation disk only allowed up to three installations, and it wasn't my disk in the first place. Which is why I made myself adjust to Sai from then on. Then again, I always say that I'm a pretty rigid person. That's part of the reason why I never got myself used to Clip Studio despite everyone raving about it now. Maybe I'm just a simpleton.

So far, I'm still trying to adjust with seeing the pen actually touch the screen instead of just the cursor/brush. It's... something else... I just need to get myself adjusted to pens on screen since I've spent years not doing that. Medibang is okay I guess? I'm using it so far for something simple. As of now, I really don't have any custom brushes for it that sits right with me for painting.
